    The spout is designed with a internal stopper controlled by a lever. When you press the lever, the stopper opens to let honey flow; when you release it, the stopper snaps shut, creating a clean break that prevents dripping.
    You can place the glass body in the microwave, but you must remove the plastic lid and mechanism first, as they contain metal parts or may warp under high heat.
    What happens if my honey crystallizes? Crystallization is natural. Simply place the dispenser (without the lid) into a container of warm water for a few minutes until the honey liquefies. Do not use boiling water.
    The glass container is dishwasher safe. However, for the longest lifespan, we recommend hand-washing the plastic top and internal mechanism to prevent damage to the spring and seals.
    It works best with liquid honey. If your honey is extremely thick or semi-solid, it may flow very slowly. Warming the honey slightly will help it dispense more easily.
