    Absolutely not. The most dramatic difference is the outer cover screen. The Z Flip 3 and 4 feature a small 1.9-inch rectangular cover screen, while the Z Flip 5 and 6 feature a massive 3.4-inch folder-shaped "Flex Window." If you attempt to put a Z Flip 4 case on a Z Flip 6, the plastic will completely block the front screen and the camera lenses. You must select the exact case precision-molded for your specific device.
    In the vast majority of these cases, it is not solid metal. The term refers to Electroplated PC (Polycarbonate). The case is constructed from a rigid, hard plastic shell that has been treated with a metallic, mirror-like coating around the edges to give it a glamorous, jewelry-like finish. This is actually preferred over solid metal, as real metal would make the phone incredibly heavy and block your wireless charging signals.
    This depends entirely on the manufacturing quality. Cheaper cases simply glue loose glitter to the outside of the plastic, which will quickly shed and make a mess. High-quality "shiny" cases use an In-Mold Decoration (IMD) process or seal the glitter layer completely underneath a smooth, clear topcoat of resin or plastic. This ensures the case remains smooth to the touch and the glitter never flakes off.
    The wrist strap is a fantastic feature for a Z Flip, providing a highly secure grip when taking one-handed selfies or walking. On PC (hard plastic) cases, the strap usually attaches via a metal rivet or D-ring anchored directly into the hard shell. While it is strong enough to support the weight of the phone, you should never swing the phone by the strap, as the sudden centripetal force could snap the plastic anchor point.
    Unlike flexible TPU (rubber) cases that bounce upon impact, a rigid PC (Polycarbonate) shell works by taking the brunt of the kinetic energy. If you drop the phone, the hard plastic prevents sharp objects from piercing the casing and keeps the phone's frame from bending. However, keep in mind that standard two-piece back covers snap onto the top and bottom halves of the device, leaving the central folding hinge completely exposed unless the case explicitly features a built-in hinge protector.
